About Me
I am a contemporary dancer with a BA (Hons) degree in dance and a MA in Dance Performance and Chroeography. I have a lot of experience with choreography and creative performances from University and Squirm dance company that I was in for a year. I also have dance performance experience again from my degrees travelling as part of my masters degree performing in other university's as well as travelling abroad to the states and Germany to perform. I was a part of the commonwealth games handover event, multiple performances through college (Coventry College) and my dance school as a teen (Three Spires Dance company) and again Squirm dance company for a year. I also have dance teaching experience, teaching sensory dance classes at my current SEND school, as part of my degrees and leading dance workshops with primary aged children as part of my PhD research.
I am currently completing my PhD, I am on track to complete by March 2027. My PhD is in Kinaesthetic learning for children with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. I can send my work so far.
I have some of my contemporary choreography on film as well as references from university as evidence of my grades/work.

Special Needs teaching assistant/sensory dance teacher

I am a special needs TA, Personal care lead and i used to teach sensory dance classes before covid 19 lockdown. As well as being a traditional Teaching Assistant, I am trained in Manual Handling (hoists and slings) First Aid and Dysphagia trained, have an up to date DBS, Team teach training and Type 1 diabetes training. I used to teach sensory dance classes before covid 19 lockdown, which included leading classes with the use of props for the students.

I danced with Squirm dance company in Birmingham for a year before I left to study on my Masters degree. I performed at different events as well as choreographing some of my own pieces for the performances.
